Website is a valuable resource for consumers, physicians, and caregivers
Mount Laurel, NJ — October 26, 2009 — AmeriHealth is pleased to announce the release of its interactive Medicare website, www.amerihealthmedicare.com.
The new website makes it easy for current and prospective members, providers, and caregivers to find information, resources, and links to help them make important decisions. Features of the redesign include:
- “Senior-friendly” design and improved navigation. Larger type and simplified layout make it easy for members to read and navigate through the site and find the information they need.
- Online Account Management. Members can access a personalized member portal, www.amerihealthexpress.com, which provides access to benefit information; processed claims; customer service; plan-related forms; AmeriHealth Healthy LifestylesSM programs, provider information, and much more.
- Plan comparison tools. New tools make it easy for prospective members to find the Medicare plans that they are eligible for, view side-by-side comparisons, and apply online.
- New section for caregivers. A special section has been created to enable caregivers to manage their loved one’s care including choosing the right medical coverage, finding a doctor, and managing medications.
